Kadoma Man Charged With Killing Wife and Pregnant Daughter.
A 45-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife and daughter in Victory Park, Kadoma, on May 3, 2026.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the arrest of Obert Namurokosi in connection with two murder cases.
Police say Namurokosi had a domestic dispute with his wife, Cynthia Namurokosi, 45, on May 2. Cynthia left their home to seek safety at the house of their daughter, Takudzwa Namurokosi, 23.
On May 3, the suspect allegedly followed her to his daughter’s residence. He was armed with a kitchen knife.
Police say he attacked both women. He allegedly stabbed his daughter, who was nine months pregnant, several times. He then turned on his wife and stabbed her in the neck.
Both victims died at the scene from their injuries.
Takudzwa was due to give birth soon. She was 23 years old. Cynthia was 45.
Namurokosi is now in police custody. Investigations are ongoing. He will appear in court soon.
The ZRP has urged the public to report domestic disputes before they turn violent.
In its statement, police added: _No to domestic violence and murder._
